when do dreams end?
have you ever asked yourself this question before?
i used to think that when you failed, then the dreams will end.
but now thinking back on it...that's totally wrong.
dreams end only when you stop dreaming.
don't you agree?
the moment when you feel like giving up, is actually the moment when you can't the most.
that moment might be the one that will change everything.

It's a very thin line between optimism and being idealistic.. I hope you know what I mean? I like your poems. DO you write it?
yes, i think i know what you mean... since the realm of dreams is something that is in-depth and abstract...i guess it's hard to decipher its content into just black and white. =)
thank you for liking them, ToRRes^9^. really appreciate it. and yes, i wrote them myself. i guess, writing about things makes me understand life better...
There is a lot of wisdom in this post.
As I was reading it, I thought about this Langston Hughes poem:
What happens to a dream deferred?
Does it dry up
like a raisin in the sun?
Or fester like a sore--
And then run?
Does it stink like rotten meat?
Or crust and sugar over--
like a syrupy sweet?
Maybe it just sags
like a heavy load.
Or does it explode?
oh....i think, my senses became haywire after reading that poem. pictures after pictures and smell and texture kept popping into my head and lingering on my taste buds...such vivid description...i like it.
thank you for the poem, Relyn.
p.s such descriptive words remind me of william blake's
Wow you write them yourself. What I mean by there's athin line between idealistic and being optimistic is that sometimes people think we are too idealistic but in order to be optimistic, it's usual that you dream a ridiculous dream. I love the poem by relyn
Langston Hughs also said
Hold fast to dreams
for if dreams die
life is a broken winged bird
that cannot fly
Hold fast to dreams
for when dreams go
life is a barren field
frozen with snow.
So Moonshin keep dreaming...
